Pharrell Williams thinks Cara Delevingne is even "bigger" than people expect.

The model walked for Burberry Prorsum at London Fashion Week this season, has collaborated with Mulberry and is working on movie and music projects.

With so many strings to her bow, it's no wonder Pharrell, 40, sees big things ahead for the 21-year-old.

“I think Cara is much bigger than everyone’s expectations. There are whispers out there about music and movies, but I think at the end of the day, what people should focus in on is not these specific projects, but on her spirit," he told the London Evening Standard.

“Because trust me - the films will only get better, the parts only get bigger, the music only gets better, the modelling only gets better. But her spirit is becoming refined and she’s becoming refined and it’s another chapter in her life."

Pharrell is enjoying an amazing moment in his career right now, with smash-hit Happy following last year's number one collaborations Blurred Lines and Get Lucky.

The song has also seen Pharrell nominated for an Oscar, and he'll be performing at the Academy Awards this year as well as the BRIT Awards tonight.

The star hinted some work with Cara could be on the cards.

"We’re happy to say this is family now. So there’s going to be some really cool things," he teased.

Cara added: “It would be wicked [to work with Pharrell] – it would be a dream.”

The pretty star was on hand to present Pharrell with the award for best international recording artist at the ELLE Style Awards last night.

When asked how she feels about her whirlwind life right now, she wasn't sure how to respond.

“I don’t know – I have no idea. I haven’t really had time to take anything in," she mused.

“I think when I stop and think about it, it just confuses me more and more. I can’t really process it all that quickly. But it’s good – it’s just the same as always – causing madness, chaos – organised, somehow. Something like that.

“People say very weird comments to me about what I’ve done, and I’m like, ‘Really?’ That doesn’t sound right. In my mind it’s very different to what people see.”
