Marc Anthony is “really good friends” with Casper Smart.
The 45-year-old singer split from Jennifer Lopez in July 2011 and she began dating backing dancer Casper in October of the same year.
But according to Marc, there is no hostility whatsoever between the men despite their shared love.
"It's great, as a matter of fact we were texting back and forth two days ago. We're actually really, really good friends,” Marc revealed during a Monday appearance on The Wendy Williams Show.
“From the very beginning. When you love someone and you care for someone, Jennifer and I, I don't say it lightly, we're great friends. You know, anybody that means anything to her means something to me. That's keeping it simple.
Casper's a great guy, he's been great to my children and I have nothing but respect for him. Absolutely nothing but respect."
Marc officially filed for divorce from Jennifer in April 2012, and the former couple share five-year-old fraternal twins Max and Emme together.
Although he has two failed marriages behind him, Marc still believes in love, as he cherishes domestic intimacy.
"I do. I believe in relationships. I believe that God has blessed me in so many ways. Material things go but so far.
Success goes but so far. But when your house is empty and you don't have someone to invest in, if you don't have a witness, it's almost worthless,” he explained.
Earlier this month it was reported Marc split from Chloe Green, the 22-year-old daughter of Top Shop CEO and billionaire Philip Green.
The couple went public in February 2013 with a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, just ten months after Marc filed for divorce from Jennifer.
