Katy Perry was reportedly spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger on Valentine’s Day.
The singer spent the evening with boyfriend John Mayer, with dinner at LA hotspot Sunset Tower and Bootsy Bellows club.
And it looks like things are getting serious between the couple.
"They are really happy. They had the most amazing date night. They had a private booth at Bootsy Bellows and were very happy just to be together," a source told E! News. "They were taking pics of one another and are head over heels.
After a while, they had some friends join them and they spent the rest of the night dancing. They left as the club was closing."
While neither Katy nor John gave any hint beforehand as to what their Valentine’s night plans were, John did compliment his girlfriend on Twitter.
Quoting Jay Z lyrics from hit song Public Service Announcement, the musician boasted about how the Roar singer is “the hottest”. "I got the hottest girl in the game Pick in' my brain," he tweeted.
While no engagement has been formally announced, there are reports that John is planning to propose to the pop star.
He has apparently been secretly talking to Katy’s friends so he can plan the perfect way to ask her to marry him.
“John has been asking Katy’s friends tons of questions, like what kind of engagement ring she would want and what the best way to propose would be. They’ve been so serious about each other ever since they got back together," a source told Life & Style magazine recently.
