Kim Kardashian reportedly wants Harry Styles to help her score a record deal.
The reality TV star is engaged to Kanye West and they have daughter North together, who was born last June. Kim's half-sister Kendall Jenner is thought to be dating One Direction star Harry, causing Kim to see the potential for a future business deal.
One Direction were discovered by Simon Cowell on the UK version of TV show The X Factor and Kim apparently sees Harry as her way in with the musician mogul.
"Kim's been having singing lessons since last summer and now wants to meet with the labels in a bid to score a record deal. She's keen on being signed by Simon," an insider told British magazine Heat.
It seems the 33-year-old star could have run into problems though, as Simon isn't thought to be interested in meeting with her to chat business. He is even rumoured to have warned Harry to steer clear of her, putting the curly-haired lothario in a tricky position.
Even if she can't make things work with Simon, Kim is apparently desperate to set the charts alight. She has set her sights high, although her rapper beau apparently thinks her time would be better served by working on her fashion lines or planning their upcoming wedding.
"Kim's dream is for her and Kanye to become the next Beyoncé and Jay Z. But Kanye is urging her to stick to what she does best," the source said.
