Lisa Marie Presley admires the way her husband “takes care of everything”.
The 46-year-old daughter of late singer Elvis Presley has been divorced three times.
But she acknowledges her relationship with fourth husband, guitarist and music producer Michael Lockwood, is unlike anything she’s ever experienced.
“He takes care of everything,” Lisa Marie, who was previously wed to Nicolas Cage, Michael Jackson and Danny Keough, revealed on the Valentine’s Day episode of Oprah: Where Are They Now?
Lisa Marie met Michael while working on her third studio album, Storm & Grace.
The couple regularly hit the road together for work and she is blown away by his ability to manage chaotic situations.
“He picks the musicians. He gets them ready to tour. That’s how we met, so we kind of knew each other that way and fell in love — you know, by just working together,” Lisa Marie gushed.
“I’m just amazed at how much he takes on and how much he deals with and handles.”
Lisa Marie is mother to four children and she shares five-year-old fraternal twin girls Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love with Michael.
Family life couldn’t be sweeter for Lisa Marie, as she thinks jet-setting across the world with her brood is exhilarating.
“We bring the babies with us and it’s always … there’s always a lot going on, so [Michael] is incredible. We’ve been together for 10 years now, and it’s been pretty outstanding,” she said.
Lisa Marie has previously spoken to Oprah about her marriage to late singer Michael Jackson.
Lisa and Michael wed in 1994, but the union lasted less than two years and she admitted their relationship lacked clarity from the outset.
“I didn't understand my relationship with him. To some degree, he was a master at manipulating the media,” she revealed.
