Last year, Morrissey scheduled dates in a number of countries, including the United States, only to cancel them due to various medical problems which, at one point, had doctors recommending that he retire.

The singer is ignoring that advice and has scheduled twenty-five dates in the U.S. The tour opens on May 7 at San Jose's National Civic Auditorium and ends June 21 at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn.

Singer Kristen Young is opening at all the dates but, in Los Angeles and New York, Morrissey has enlisted a special guest. On Saturday, May 10, he will appear at the Los Angeles Sports Arena with special guest Tom Jones. Then, at the June 21 show in Brooklyn, he'll have guest Sir Cliff Richard.

Richard went on Twitter to joke about the appearance, saying "Everyone knows how much I hate Morrissey... But you should see the size of the f*cking cheque he waved in my face!"
