Justin Bieber is furious with Miley Cyrus according to reports.
The Believe singer is said to be upset about comments Miley made during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on January 30.
During the interview Miley advised Justin to “pay people” to make sure he didn’t get into trouble and that no one had seen a “Miley mugshot” because what she did was legal in California.
“Miley’s comments infuriated The Biebs, who phoned the next day and warned her to keep her f**king mouth shut,” a source close to the Canadian singer told The National Enquirer.
“Justin was furious. He’d really thought he and Miley were true friends — especially since she’s been brutally criticised for her own wild behaviour.”
During the alleged phone call the former Disney star tried to apologise to Justin.
But the 19-year-old, who has had numerous brushes with the law in the last few months, wasn’t prepared to listen.
“Miley tried to apologise, saying she didn’t feel her comments were overly critical or negative,” the source continued.
“When she defended herself by telling Justin he really needs to get his act together before he implodes, he exploded and hung up. Now he’s telling his peeps, ‘I hate her.’”
However US Star magazine is reporting that hate is the exact opposite of how Justin feels about Miley.
The publication claims that a Miley and Justin rendezvous was responsible for sending Justin’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez to rehab.
The inside source reveals that Selena allegedly opened up about her issues with Justin in group therapy sessions and revealed how much he had hurt her.
The source said: “Dealing with the stories about Justin’s random hookups were bad enough, but hearing that he was involved with one of her closest friends was the ultimate betrayal for her.”
