The Smiths catalogue mastered for iTunes

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of The Smiths’ highly influential debut album, Rhino has issued the band’s discography as a complete Mastered for iTunes release series.

The albums are available for purchase today at iTunes.com/TheSmiths. Mastered for iTunes ensures that music is delivered to the listeners with greatly improved audio fidelity, more closely replicating the intentions of the artists, producers and recording engineers.

The Smiths’ Mastered for iTunes series covers all four of the band’s studio albums – ‘The Smiths’ (1984), ‘Meat Is Murder’ (1985), ‘The Queen Is Dead’ (1986) and ‘Strangeways, Here We Come’ (1987) – together with other key releases such as the live album ‘Rank’, the singles and b-sides compilations ‘Hatful of Hollow’ and ‘The World Won’t Listen’ and finally, ‘Complete’, the ultimate collection that compiles all of the aforementioned releases in one deluxe digital product.
