Simon Cowell will continue his role on Britain’s Got Talent after he becomes a dad.

The TV mogul is expecting his first child with girlfriend Lauren Silverman in a matter of weeks.

But Simon tells UK newspaper The Mirror he has no plans for fatherhood to slow him down.

“I’ll manage,” he told 3am Online while walking the red carpet at London’s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith Tuesday night.

And it doesn’t appear Simon will be going soft on contestants in the near future either.

Fellow Talent judge David Walliams said audiences can expect the TV boss to be tough as ever.

“Simon is definitely in good spirits. But he has still not lost his knack for being a really tough judge. It is not like everyone is sailing through because he is in a good mood. He is still harsh,” the panelist said.

Simon and Lauren are reportedly expecting their new addition on February 28.

The child will apparently be born in New York, the home of Lauren’s son with ex-husband Andrew Silverman.

The British socialite divorced Andrew last year after she fell pregnant with a baby boy following her affair with Simon, who has previously spoken about impending fatherhood.

The 54-year-old recently told Parade magazine he can’t wait to take his son on days out to theme parks.

"I'm not brilliant with babies. I never know what to do. But [once he's older] I think I'll be a good dad in terms of advice. And then I'll get to do all the things I want to do, like go to Disneyland or Universal Studios, teach him how to drive - I love all that,” he said.
