Calvin Harris has apparently given Rita Ora a £100,000 car - even though she can't drive.
The 23-year-old British singer has been dating DJ Calvin since May last year and it seems the musician wanted to prove how much she means to him.
According to British newspaper The Sun, the 30-year-old has treated her to a Mercedes, despite the fact that Rita isn't even able to drive it yet.
The Hot Right Now singer is thought to have taken intense back-to-back driving lessons in order to be able to take her new wheels for a spin as soon as possible.
“Rita’s never needed to worry about getting around before – it’s either taxis, the Tube or walking," a source told the publication.
“That’s not the way it happens in LA. Unless you have a car, doing anything is impossible.
“She doesn’t want to have to rely on Calvin to be designated driver.”
It was recently reported that Rita and Calvin had split due to their hectic schedules.
However, they put up a united front at the Grammy Awards last month, where the DJ was nominated in the best dance recording and best dance album categories.
If it wasn't for her boyfriend, the pretty singer wouldn't have attended the event.
"The Grammys were really nervous because that was the first time I'd ever been. I have an ego you see, I didn't want to go unless I had something to do there, or a nomination. Any musician I think would want something. But I went to support a partner and to explore it really," Rita told Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw.
