Jarvis Cocker speaking at SXSW

Jarvis Cocker will deliver an address at the SXSW music conference in Austin, Texas in March.

Cocker will talk to aspiring songwriters about his craft and dissect how he writes songs and provide songwriting tips to the audience. Cocker will speak on Wednesday, March 12 from 12:30 PM in the Austin Convention Center.

Cocker will also be featured in the movie Sheffield : Sex City. The documentary will have its world premiere at SXSW in March. The movie, shot by director Florian Habict, follows Cocker’s band Pulp on their hometown return to Sheffield in 2013.

Chelsea Clinton has also been announced as a speaker for SXSW Interactive.

SXSW 2014 will be held March 7 to 16 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.
