Kevin Jonas has welcomed his first child.

The 26-year-old former Jonas Brothers singer’s wife Danielle gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday, E! News reports.

"We are overjoyed at the birth of Alena Rose Jonas," the couple said in a statement.

"She is precious! We could not be more excited to start building our family together. We want to thank our family and friends for their love and support, and our fans for all of their well wishes."

Kevin and Danielle married in December 2009.

The pop star and reality TV personality confirmed he was going to be a dad last July.

"I was overjoyed. It's been the most exciting thing in my life so far. I'm excited and I'm nervous,” he said at the time.

The musician is also thrilled to be welcoming a girl to the family. He recently told America’s OK! magazine it will be a refreshing change after growing up in a house full of brothers.

"I've been around boys a lot in my life, so it'll be nice to have a girl. She'll be actually the first Jonas girl, by blood, in a long time. We're really looking forward to it," he said.

Fans of the couple can expect to see plenty of images of the new addition.

E! reports the Married to Jonas co-stars have partnered with laundry detergent Dreft’s Amazing Baby Days app, and will share moments throughout Alena’s first year.
