Cher is mourning the loss of a crew member.

The singer is preparing for her Dressed to Kill North American tour but weeks before hitting the road it appears those working on the show have suffered a major tragedy.

"The crew has lost a sister member," Cher tweeted on Saturday.

"Michelle Iown Stock was Killed in a car Crash ! A LOSS of ONE CREW MEMBER IS A LOSS FOR ALL," she continued.

Cher did not elaborate on the details surrounding the accident.

However, the singer said many would feel Michelle's loss, as she was like "family" to Cher and many others.

"Even if U didn't no Michelle..We r family & even one less is Sad.She Was a Newly Wed some1 just sent video of her & friend singing BELIEVE," she wrote (sic).

Cher's Dressed to Kill tour is scheduled to kick off on March 19 in Northampton, Pennsylvania.

It's unclear if Michelle's death will affect scheduling.

Cher has been keeping fans up-to-date about the show's progress.

On Friday she sent love out to her crew members, saying they were all "beat" after working non-stop to get the show in order.

"Therapist says I'm an Animal,&Ahead of schedule,but Im must eat Now," she wrote, later adding, "Sorry so few Twts,but seems every second is filled with Show! Been falling asleep at 10 ! You ALL Know Me..IM NIGHT OWL!" (sic).
