Miley Cyrus is praying for a good Valentine’s Day this year.
The Wrecking Ball singer was still engaged to her ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth at the time.
But it seems all was possibly not well many months before their September split, after Miley revealed how she spent her Valentine’s Day last year.
“I told the doorman to go f**k himself on Valentine's Day last year because he told me 'Happy Valentine's Day'," she admitted to the Associated Press.
"I was just having one of those days. It's true, sorry. Please dear God say [this year] it's better than my last Valentine's Day.”
Miley and Hunger Games star Liam began dating in 2009 and became engaged in June 2012.
But their relationship fell apart a little over a year later and according to recent reports, the former couple are no longer on speaking terms.
“"She doesn't speak with Liam," a source told Hollywood Life. "She has another life now that doesn't involve him. When she was with him, she only thought marriage, now she can only think of life without him and to her, it's so far so good."
One person who Miley does have time for however is Madonna.
The two singers recently teamed up for Miley’s MTV Unplugged session and the 21-year-old was thrilled to perform with the music icon.
“I never knew if it was gonna be possible. We just kind of threw it out there and when I was working on my record I wanted to have her on a song,” Miley explained to Access Hollywood.
“It was nice to be on stage with someone that isn’t afraid of what I’m gonna do, that totally embraces what I’m doing. It was fun and it was awesome.”
