Lana Del Rey secretly got engaged last summer, according to reports.
The Summertime Sadness singer has been dating fellow musician Barrie-James O'Neill since 2011.
Multiple sources are now saying that the pair got engaged in secret last summer, reports Us Weekly.
The 27-year-old originally sparked rumours of an engagement last July, when she was spotted wearing a diamond sparkler on her ring finger while house hunting in L.A with Barrie.
Us Weekly contacted Lana’s rep to confirm the rumours but so far there has been no response.
Since the couple began dating, Barrie’s band Kassidy has toured with Lana, and he even appeared as the on-screen love interest in her Summer Wine video.
Lana is actually known for regularly singing about loss but back in January 2012 she revealed to Complex magazine that one of the tracks on her Born to Die album is about euphoric love.
“When I found somebody who I fell in love with, it made me feel different than I felt the rest of the day. It was electrifying. That's what inspired the 'Off to the Races' melodies," she explained, no doubt referring to meeting Barrie months earlier.
"That's one of the times when you're feeling electrified by someone else and they make you happy to be alive."
Despite her loved up home-life, it looks doubtful that any more songs about euphoric love will appear on the next album.
Lana revealed during a Q&A with fans on Twitter that new album Ultraviolence is extremely dark.
“The record is finished and it's beautiful. And don't worry you will love Ultra – it's so wrong and exquisite,” MTV reported her saying.
“It is absolutely gorgeous - darker then the first - so dark it's almost unlistenable and wrong. But I love it. X”
