Kevin Jonas says preparing to be a dad is a "beautiful thing".
The 26-year-old former Jonas Brothers singer is expecting his first child with wife Danielle next month.
The couple are in crunch time as they put the finishing touches on their new home before the new addition arrives. But Kevin says he couldn't be happier.
"We've been going to see a couple movies together," he told America's OK! magazine of how they spend their rare downtime.
"Just being together right now is the most important. It's difficult to find time when you're trying to build a house, move in, have the baby, just be prepared, but to sit at home every night and decompress with each other, it's a beautiful thing."
Kevin said Danielle is making the nursery perfect for their baby girl.
He gushed about finally starting a family with his wife of four years.
"l'm happy that I have my best friend to be able to do this, and share this experience with," Kevin said.
The musician is also thrilled to be welcoming a girl to the family. He recently told OK! it will be a refreshing change after growing up in a house full of brothers.
"I've been around boys a lot in my life, so it'll be nice to have a girl. She'll be actually the first Jonas girl, by blood, in a long time. We're really looking forward to it," he said.
