Justin Bieber is allegedly facing criminal assault charges.
According to new reports the 19-year-old singer is due to be booked in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday for reportedly attacking a limousine driver.
Sources tell TMZ Justin became a prime suspect following the December 29 skirmish after he didn’t show up for questioning.
“We're told Toronto cops wanted to talk to Justin but he didn't come in for an interview and they got annoyed,” the website writes.
“Law enforcement sources say Justin is now in Toronto and in the next hour will go to the police station.
“Sources say Justin will be booked for assault, given a citation and released on his own recognisance.”
News broke of the altercation with the limo driver last month, and it was initially believed members of Justin’s entourage were behind the assault.
But according to CBC News, Justin is planning on fully surrendering to the charges against him.
This indictment takes place just days after the teenage heartthrob was arrested in Miami on charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest without violence and driving on an expired licence. TMZ reports he pled not guilty against these charges on Wednesday, as his lawyer Mark Shapiro submitted an official written plea on his client’s behalf.
He is due in court to address these formal allegations on February 14, when millions of people will be celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Justin is currently very busy, as it is rumoured he is moving out of his Calabasas, California estate to an isolated residence with fewer neighbours.
He has been accused of verbally assaulting and spitting at one neighbour in the closed community, while another claims he egged their house causing $20,000 of damage.
