Justin Bieber reportedly wants to open a tattoo parlour.

The 19-year-old pop star, who was arrested for DUI earlier this month, has apparently told his manager Scooter Braun he wants to take a break from music to work on the venture with his dad, Jeremy.

RadarOnline reports Justin had the talk with Scooter and mentor Usher during the teenager's weekend trip to Panama.

"Justin told Scooter and Usher he needs to take a break from making music and touring. He complained that he toured for most of last year and he hasn't had a chance to catch his breath. Justin wants to take control of his life and not be out on the road in a different city every other night," a source told the website.

"His short term plans include opening a tattoo parlour with his dad. They have talked about it for a very long time. It's his dream for it to be a very high-end parlor, unlike anything currently out there," the insider said.

As Radar reports, Justin's father has been under intense scrutiny as of late, reportedly blocking an intersection on a Miami street so that his son could drag race with pals last week.

Justin was arrested for driving under the influence, resisting arrest without violence and driving on an expired licence moments later.

He arraignment is scheduled for February 14, according to the Associated Press.

A spokesperson for the star has not commented on the latest claims.
