Hot on the heels of their new album Teeth Dreams, the HOLD STEADY return to the UK for a tour in May.
The Hold Steady’s new album Teeth Dreams is now available for pre-order via theholdsteady.net.
Fans who take advantage of the pre-order sales will rewarded with the option of purchasing a variety of limited edition items., including The Limited Edition Custom Wood Box Bundle which contains the CD, a gold foil limited edition vinyl, The Hold Steady bottle opener, an exclusive photo taken by the band, a t-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt. Only 300 of these have been manufactured.
Another package offers the gold foil vinyl with a CD, sweatshirt and t-shirt, while another has combination of the vinyl or the CD with a choice of three shirts or the sweatshirt. Copies of the vinyl and CD can be also be ordered individually. There will be 1,000 gold foil vinyl albums available only via the pre-order sale. It will not be available in stores.
Today the band also released their covers EP entitled RAGS direct to fans this month via Pledge Music to benefit the K + L Guardian Foundation in honour of devoted fan and concert promoter Mike "Jersey Mike" Van Jura, who passed away in late 2012.
Teeth Dreams is the New York band’s sixth album and first on its own Positive Jams imprint via new label Washington Square, itself a newly established imprint formed by Razor & Tie.
They will kick off a string of US tour dates on 29th January 2014 at the Hi-Tone in Memphis and round it up with two 10th Anniversary shows (tour dates below) including one at the Brooklyn venue where they made their live debut:
