Selena Gomez is supposedly handling her Justin Bieber “shock” by dining with friends.
The 21-year-old has been frequently spotted at restaurants with her besties following her ex-boyfriend Justin’s Miami arrest last Thursday.
She had a meal with her former Wizards of Waverly Place co-star David Henrie at famous Los Angeles sushi eatery Katsuya on Sunday, and apparently he gave her advice on how to cope with the pop star’s fall from grace.
“Selena trusts David very much and they have been friends forever,” a source told HollywoodLife.com, noting David was there only to comfort a friend in need.
“There isn’t anything more romantic going on with them, it would be a shock if they dated because they are like brother and sister in real life as well.”
Justin is rumoured to have sparked up a romance with model Chantel Jeffries, who was with him at the time of his arrest.
When he flew to Panama over the weekend he brought Chantel along with him, and Selena is said to be struggling with his new affair.
But according to Demi Lovato, Selena seems fine after confiding in her good friend over a meal at Craig’s restaurant in Los Angeles last Friday.
"We're really, really close," Demi revealed on radio programme On Air with Ryan Seacrest. "And any advice I had for her, we talked last night and it's between us. But I love her so much.
“[She's] strong! She's doing really well right now!”
