Cory Monteith’s death will be addressed “in a significant way” on the 100th episode of Glee.

Director Paris Barclay is overseeing the two-part special, which will air on March 18 and 25.

According to Paris, Cory’s character Finn Hudson will not be excluded from the episode.

"I don’t think it could go much farther without continuing to talk about how that hurts," he told Us Magazine. "There is so much feeling there and it affected the Glee family in such a profound way, and you can expect it to be dealt with in the 100th episode. It definitely comes back and is dealt with in a significant way."

A host of stars are involved in the 100th episodes, with both regular cast members and guest performers returning.

Amber Riley, Dianna Agron, and Heather Morris are confirmed to be involved, as are Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristin Chenoweth.

"The two of them together are hysterical," Paris said about Gwyneth and Kristin.

"They have a lot of scenes together, and I think they will be clamoring for a spin off after this! The have great chemistry, and they are incredibly funny."

Cast member Naya Rivera has hinted that as well as humour and sadness, the two-part special will have some very sexy moments in it too, judging by the pictures she posted of herself on set wearing skimpy lingerie.
