Britney Spears admits she is “way less fearless”.

The 32-year-old pop star has been a Hollywood entertainer since she was a child.

And now that she is an older woman, Britney believes maturity has diminished the boldness she had as a youth.

“I’m older, obviously, and I think I’m probably a little bit wiser, but I’m way less fearless,” she revealed during an interview in Vegas magazine’s Winter 2014 issue.

Britney is mother to Sean, eight, and Jayden, seven, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

She began her her two-year Las Vegas concert residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino last month, and Britney confesses balancing motherhood with work has been challenging.

“It’s a gruelling schedule…I think I’ll be able to live a normal life with my kids,” she revealed. “I will have some nights where I’ll come back to L.A. after the show and some when I’ll stay over in Las Vegas.”

Despite the constant travelling between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, which is about a one-hour plane ride, Britney is enjoying performing in Sin City.

The star finds getting onstage to be somewhat of a therapeutic experience.

“When I’m being a mom, I’m mom all the way. I’m worried all the time and always thinking about what we should be doing and should not be doing. But when I am onstage, it’s like my therapy time,” she explained.

“I get to be this person that I’m really not. It’s a way to get out of my own head and have some fun.”

Britney will be performing 50 shows per year through 2015 and she is earning an estimated $15 million every 12 months.
