Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will marry in their "second home" Paris.

The couple got engaged on Kim's 33rd birthday in October and it has been widely reported they would tie the knot in the French capital. Kim has now confirmed the plans, although she is remaining tight-lipped when it comes to the details.

"We will be getting married, this summer hopefully, in Paris," she told US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

"It's our second home. We spend so much time there, we have an apartment there. I'm not telling where or the date but it's definitely Paris."

The couple have been in Paris for the couture fashion shows of late and sparked claims they were hoping to exchange vows at the Palace of Versailles. The establishment was quick to shoot down the speculation, tweeting that the wedding wouldn't be happening at the venue.

Kim has seconded that, adding that whatever they decide on her fiancé will be heavily involved.

"We took a tour because we've never been there before. We were just having a private tour," she insisted.

"Kanye really cares and he's really passionate about it. He knows what he wants and he's very specific about it. It makes my job 100 per cent easier

"He'll take care of the music, I'll take care of seating chart so we'll make it easier for each other."

Kim also touched on the couple's home life. Since their daughter North was born last June they have been living with Kim's mother Kris Jenner and some of the rest of her family. While they are grateful for the support of the Kardashian clan, sometimes it gets a bit too much for the rapper.

"We spent New Year's in a condo with my mother and Kanye said, 'Can we just have three days to ourselves without your family?' so we went to Paris," she explained.

"It was too far for North to come so my mom and my sisters all looked after her. He's moved in with me, my mom, two little sisters so that's why we needed to get away. We live with my mom because our house is being worked on right now."
