Nicki Minaj thinks her forehead looks monstrously large on ESPN magazine.

The 31-year-old rapper graces the cover of the sports publication’s special music edition alongside professional basketball player Kobe Bryant.

But Nicki is dissatisfied with the photo, and she took to Instagram Thursday to express her sentiments.

"When retouching goes wrong,” she wrote in a caption attached to an image of the cover.

She then went on to post a series of behind-the-scenes shots of her and Kobe on set at the photo shoot.

And in a cute candid image of the pair, Nicki noted she would have loved to see her likeness presented more naturally.

"I love my personal unretouched photos where my forehead doesn't mysteriously grow in length,” she stated.

But despite what she thinks of the final image, Nicki had fun shooting with the athlete.

"So honored to be a part of this with Kobe. Had a blast," she wrote in the caption of another smiley shot of the pair.

Nicki released her last full-length solo LP Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded in 2012, and the star recently revealed she is dying to write new music.

"I'm definitely working," she told MTV News.

"I'm very excited at what I've been coming up with. I already started, I didn't tell anybody because I didn't want to jinx it and stuff but I already started and I'm going home tomorrow to really start.”
