Madonna lashed out at critics after using a racial slur to describe her son.

The pop star posted a photo of 13-year-old Rocco Ritchie boxing on Instagram Friday night, infuriating users with the caption: “No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disn***a."

Followers took aim at the singer for using the racially-charged term.

But Madonna swiftly fought back, deleting the original image and re-posting it with a defiant message.

“Ok let me start this again. #get off of my d**k haters!” she wrote.

Within minutes, thousands of users had liked the image. But commenters were not as kind.

“Spreading ignorance is awful!” one user wrote.

Addressing others rushing to her defence, another said he was shocked by the star’s lack of understanding despite having adopted two young African-American children.

“There are haters. Then there are people offended. Like myself being of the same race as Ur African son. Ur account is public. I know Ur smart enough to know that word originated as offensive… I'm disappointed. I loved u. But I have a line. I'm done (sic)," the user wrote.

Another accused the 55-year-old star of grasping at straws in her old age.

“Madonna - you are trying wayyyy too hard these days to be down with the younger crowd. give it up granny!” the commenter wrote.

Madonna has yet to issue comment on the controversy.
