Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly throw Downton Abbey screening parties complete with Edwardian food.
The couple are known for their expensive tastes and have apparently found a new thing they have in common. They are both avid fans of the British period drama TV show, which stars Michelle Dockery and Dame Maggie Smith.
"They held a party after their New Year skiing trip and Kim even had her private chef cook Edwardian-style food from the show - including Lady Mary's crab canapés," an insider told British magazine Heat.
The couple are known to share a love for fashion, with Kanye picking out a whole new wardrobe for his now-fiancée. He has also praised her style skills, calling her the number one designer in the world. It seems their passion for fashion also plays into their love of the drama.
"They also love the idea of dressing for dinner every night and now sit to eat in black tie. They love dressing up and it gives Kim and excuse to wear all the dresses she usually just wears once," the source laughed.
Kanye is reportedly preparing to step up his devotion to the TV show. He apparently want to buy himself and Kim titles, just like Kim's sister Kourtney's boyfriend Scott Disick did during a trip to London.
"Kanye likes to think of himself as the Lord of the manor and Kim often refers to him as 'Lord West'. He's assured Kim that he'll find a way to buy them both titles," the source said.
