Justin Bieber reportedly ignored his manager's advice to kick his friend Lil Za out of his house.

Lil Za was arrested at the Canadian pop star’s home in Calabasas, California, on Tuesday for felony drug possession.

But if Justin had listened to the advice of key members of his entourage, including manager Scooter Braun, it apparently could have been a different story.

"People close to Justin had wanted Lil Za out of the picture, but obviously Justin makes his own decisions," a source close to the star lamented to Radar Online.

Problems first arose in September, when Radar reported that members of Justin's elder entourage were said to have "had it" with Lil Za, real name Xavier Smith, along with a second pal, Lil Twist.

The two have reportedly wreaked havoc in the 19-year-old’s neighbourhood, getting pulled over numerous times for recklessly speeding through the streets and holding wild late-night parties.

"Lil Twist and Lil Za were ordered by Scooter to vacate Justin's house," a source close to the situation told the website.

"He wanted them out last September and they were even set up with their own apartments. But it never happened. Scooter desperately wanted to clean house."

Lil Za's arrest followed a raid at Justin's home which saw 11 police patrol cars arrive armed with a battering ram and search warrant as part of a felony vandalism investigation following an alleged egg throwing attack on a neighbour’s property.

Police executed the warrant after the 19-year-old was accused of costing his neighbour $20,000 in damages.

It's alleged the Baby singer threw at least 20 eggs at a house in his gated community last Thursday.

Police were searching for anything involved in the incident, such as physical evidence, recordings or egg residue.
