Rick Ross sets date for Mastermind

Shortly after the announcement of his Jay Z-assisted single “The Devil Is A Lie” (January 20th), Rick Ross has revealed the release date for sixth studio album, Mastermind, on March 4th via MMG/Def Jam Recordings.

Featuring enviable collaborations with the likes of soul legend Bobby Womack and French Montana, it follows on from 2012’s God Forgives, I Don’t and 2010’s Teflon Don full length efforts.

The video trailer for Mastermind comes from prolifically-known director, Hype Williams. In the 48 second teaser, Williams visualises ominous clouds and money stacks atop apocalyptic opera samples and the new single from the two rap heavyweights.
