Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, the two surviving Beatles, will perform at the Grammy Awards.

It’s as close to a Beatles reunion as you will ever see. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have agreed to perform on the Grammy Awards.

McCartney is up for Best Rock Song for Cut Me Some Slack from the Sound City: Reel to Real soundtrack album and the Beatles are scheduled to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. This is the first time that Ringo has ever performed on the show.

Other veteran artists announced for the night include Carole King, who will be performing with Album of the Year nominee Sara Bareilles, Metallica, Keith Urban, Nile Rodgers and Stevie Wonder who will perform with Daft Punk, and Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson who will sing with Blake Shelton.

The Grammy Awards are on January 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on CBS.
