Kanye West supposedly fought to defend Kim Kardashian’s honour.

The 36-year-old Yeezus singer is under investigation for assault after he allegedly punched an 18-year-old man who called his fiancée Kim a “n***er lover”.

A source told Hollywood Life that soon after the incident, Kanye sent over a text justifying his actions.

“Yeah, it’s another day defending my girl,” the message reportedly read.

Apparently Kanye is fuming over the racially charged altercation, which has grabbed headlines around the world.

“He’s hot right now, he’s hot as f**k,” the insider noted.

According to TMZ, Kim was walking into a medical building in Beverly Hills on Monday surrounded by paparazzi. An 18-year-old man held the door open for her to get in.

The teenager then allegedly hurled an insult at paparazzi, stating: “F**k these fa**ot-ass n***ers”.

When Kim chided him for his use of a racial slur, the man is said to have become enraged before responding: ‘F**k you bitch. Just trying to help you. Shut up n***er lover, stupid sl*t.”

Kim is then said to have watched which office building the man walked into. When Kanye arrived a short time later he walked into the office, which belonged to a chiropractor.

“Sources say Kanye and Kim rushed into the waiting room of chiropractor Richard Hill and found the 18-year-old sitting there. Witnesses say Kanye punched the guy and Kim screamed, ‘We have it all on tape,’” said TMZ.

The unidentified man supposedly wants to press charges and the Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed that Kanye may face legal ramifications.

"The named suspect was identified as Kanye West by the victim and several witnesses,” a statement submitted to X17 Online read.

“Mr. West had left the location prior to Officers arrival. As of this writing, BHPD Detectives are conducting a follow-up investigation.”

Kanye has been involved in a paparazzo bust-up before.

Last November he pleaded not guilty to criminal battery and attempted grand theft charges after allegedly attacking photographer Daniel Ramos outside of Los Angeles International Airport on July 19, 2013.
