Ashlee Simpson will wed once again.
The 29-year-old star announced her engagement to Diana Ross’ son Evan, 25, on Monday.
Both Ashlee and Evan couldn’t be more excited over their impending union.
“The love of my life said YES!!!!!!” Evan wrote on his Twitter account, with Ashlee tweeting almost simultaneously, “My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii!!!”
The lovebirds attached an ethereal image of themselves together to their tweets in which they appear to be shrouded in halos.
Ashlee and Evan went public with their romance in July 2013.
Evan, who takes on a small role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Parts 1 and 2, stepped out with Ashlee for the Los Angeles premiere of the preceding film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, in November.
And according to Omg! Insider it was there Evan admitted Ashlee is “the one”.
Asked if marriage was in their future, he replied: “For sure,” according to the outlet.
“It’s amazing. It's amazing. I'm so in love and we've got amazing things going on. And we inspire each other. So it's cool,” Evan gushed.
The couple were friends first, having known each other for a decade.
This won’t be the first time Ashlee has walked down the aisle.
She was also married to Fall Out Boy frontman Pete Wentz.
The former couple split in 2011 after three years of marriage and share a five-year-old son, Bronx.
