Lady Gaga’s boyfriend believes opposites attract.
The singer has been dating Taylor Kinney since July 2012, and has made it clear she adores the Chicago Fire star.
According to Taylor, the fact that he and Gaga are so different makes for a perfect relationship.
"I'm reserved. She's not. For whatever reason, it works," the 32-year-old told E! News. "It works and that's that."
The couple were spotted at the NBC Golden Globes afterparty on Sunday night, kissing and canoodling at the star-studded event.
Despite Taylor’s insistence he is the quiet one out of the pair, Gaga has previously said he is a “hidden weirdo".
"He is extremely strange, actually, and we complement each other's weirdness," she told Ellen DeGeneres in November.
"That's actually one of the first things he ever said to me. It's a Dr. Seuss quote that you find in someone else a compatible weirdness. And it was one of the first things he's said to me,” said 27-year-old Gaga.
The singer went on to explain that Taylor is a friend as much a lover, and their relationship is surprisingly normal.
According to the Applause star, being with the actor is easy.
“You know, at the end of the day he's my best friend and having your lover be your best friend. I mean, it's the best thing ever. It's the best thing I can say about it,” Gaga gushed.
"We're boys. I wear his flannels, we eat pizza, we watch TV and then I play him my next single and ask him if he likes it. And that's our normal life.”
