With the release of his Best Of collection just around the corner, Rufus Wainwright releases a new single ‘Me and Liza’ via Universal Music Catalogue.

‘Me And Lisa’ kicks off with an understated almost bare driving beat before Rufus’s trademark vocal comes sweeping over the top, building into a sumptuous, soaring chorus and climatic end.

‘Me And Liza’ is one of two tracks from ‘Vibrate’ that Rufus has worked on with renowned songwriter and producer Guy Chambers (the other being ‘Chic and Pointless’). The pair had previously collaborated on ‘World War III’ and more recently the Robbie Williams ‘Swing Both Ways’ album.

Rufus Wainwright also makes his eagerly anticipated live return in March this year, playing three solo shows.

Rufus Wainwright plays:

Mon 4th DUBLIN, Vicar Street
Tues 5th EDINBURGH, Usher Hall

Sun 6th LONDON, Theatre Royal

‘Vibrate: The Best of Rufus Wainwright’ is released March 3rd on Universal and features 18 classic songs that define one of modern music’s most innovative talents. The deluxe edition includes a must-have bonus disc of 16 rare live and studio tracks. ‘Vibrate: The Best of Rufus Wainwright’ encapsulates a career that is like no other.
