Bastille and Disclosure will face off at the 2014 BRIT Awards.

Both groups are nominated this year for Best British Group, Best British Breakthrough Act, Best British Single and Mastercard British Album Of The Year - Bastille for their debut LP Bad Blood and Disclosure for Settle.

Also nominated in the Album Of The Year category are David Bowie (The Next Day), Arctic Monkeys (A.M.) and Rudimental (Home).

One Direction trailed the bands with two nods. Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson scooped mentions for Best British Single and Best British Group, a category which also includes Arctic Monkeys and Rudimental.

Nabbing nominations for Best British Female Solo Artist are Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Laura Mvula, Laura Marling and Birdy, while Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Pink, Lorde and Janelle Monae will compete for Best International Female Solo Artist.

David Bowie will meanwhile face off against Tom Odell, Jake Bugg, John Newman and James Blake for Best British Male Solo Artist. Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Drake, Eminem and John Grant will compete in the International Male Solo Artist category.

Arcade Fire, Daft Punk, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kings of Leon and HAIM are nominated for Best International Group.

The 2014 BRIT Awards will air on ITV February 19 from London's O2 Arena with Nick Grimshaw as host.
