Blink-182, Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge has written a children’s book.

DeLonge’s book ‘The Lonely Astronaut On Christmas Eve’ is dedicated to his children Ava and Jonas, who the Blink-182 would always read to.

The story of ‘The Lonely Astronaut On Christmas Eve’ is about an astronaut all alone on the moon on Christmas Eve who receives some unexpected visitors with gifts. The book was illustrated by Mike Henry, who by day works as a video game animator at Booyah in San Francisco.

DeLonge auctioned original artwork from the book for the San Diego Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation uses donations to help fund life-saving technology and research and help children and their families with little or no private health insurance.
