Paris Jackson is reportedly fighting not to return to boarding school.

The teenager spent Christmas with her family in Hawaii and California, apparently the first time she has been home since she was admitted to the a therapeutic school in Utah following an alleged suicide attempt last year.

Although previous reports indicated Paris was happy and thriving, she is now said to be at war with grandmother Katherine Jackson about returning.

“Paris enjoyed spending time with her brothers [Prince and Blanket] and co-guardian, TJ Jackson, in Hawaii for Christmas,” a source told Radar Online.

“It was the first time she had been allowed to leave the boarding school since her suicide attempt last summer. The freedom that Paris experienced in Hawaii was intoxicating and she has been fighting with Katherine since returning to the Calabasas mansion a few days ago, because her grandmother is steadfast in her belief that she must go back to Utah.”

According to the insider, Katherine, 83, is reportedly angry about the fact the 15-year-old had access to a phone while in Hawaii and posted pictures of herself online. She considers it a sign Paris is not ready to come home yet.

The source claims Paris is “acting like any other teenager… she just wants to be with her friends. She hadn’t seen them since last summer. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done.

“Paris might not see this, but she isn’t ready to leave the safe confines of the Utah boarding school. There is a lot of support that Paris gets there and Katherine recognizes that. There is no question, Paris will be going back to Utah this weekend.”
