Alyssa Milano has received an apology from body-shamer Jay Mohr.

The Jerry Maguire actor took aim at Melrose Place star Alyssa during a radio interview after the pair appeared together at the Nascar Spring Cup Series Awards gala he hosted in Las Vegas last month.

"She's very tiny, in height. It seems like she had had a baby and said, 'I don't really give a s**t…' I read it on her gut," Jay said, according to the New York Daily News.

"Somebody sat in the director's chair was not wearing Spanx and I was like 'Jesus Christ!'" he scoffed.

The mother of two-year-old son Milo addressed the remarks on Twitter. And fans backed her up while spewing their outrage at Jay.

"So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife," Alyssa tweeted this week, later thanking her followers: "You're all lovely. Thank you for your kind words. #Appreciative."

Jay, who shares a two-year-old son with actress Nikki Cox, backtracked on his comments on Friday.

The actor took to Twitter insisting he thought his comments were funny until he got called out.

"She's stunning. I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have been taken as a joke. #fail," he wrote.

Alyssa has yet to respond to Jay’s latest remark publicly.

As The Huffington Post reports, Jay’s wife addressed his own type of behavior while guest-blogging on his website in November.

"As a culture we have become incredibly mean and snarky," she wrote. "We’ve become cruel and malicious and we keep trying to pass it off as a big joke. People on Twitter and bloggers say something they think is super cutting, biting and hilarious but really it’s just mean and [s**ty]."
