Jewel received a love letter for Christmas.
The 39-year-old You Were Meant For Me singer has been married to professional cowboy Ty Murray since 2008.
The pair’s union remains passionate, and Jewel reveals Ty spiced up this yuletide season by professing his devotion to her.
“For every holiday, he writes me a love letter. It’s really sweet,” she told America’s OK! magazine.
The couple share two-year-old son Kase and Jewel claims they wanted to expose him to “the magic of Christmas” this year.
The songstress and her rodeo beau decided to take him to the mountains for a snowy adventure.
“We’re going to be in the Rockies. I get to have a white Christmas,” she gushed.
“We have a little stamp to make reindeer feet with, so we’re pretty excited.”
Jewel and her family live on a farm in Texas.
She has previously spoken about her commitment to instilling strong values in her son through hard work.
“I don’t know of a lot of spoiled, wealthy kids who turned out well-equipped for life. I look at our son as a little gift we get to take care of until he’s 18 years old and starts life on his own,” she told Sweden With Love. “I want him to be able to take care of himself and live a happy and rewarding life, so I think spoiling him would be doing him a disservice. We try to do our best and teach him that he can earn things by helping out [around the farm].”
