Miley Cyrus and Kellan Lutz are “definitely not a couple”, according to a new report.

Rumours swirled the singer has been seeing the Twilight hunk after they were pictured arriving in Miami, Florida on the same private jet Wednesday.

Miley deplaned with her pal, Cheyne Thomas, while Kellan exited solo after a brief trip to the Bahamas.

But according to E! News, there’s nothing romantic between the famous pair.

“[Miley and Kellan are] definitely not a couple,” a source told the news outlet, insisting the pair simply share mutual friends.

That they needed to be in Miami at the same time is pure coincidence, according to the insider.

“Lutz was busy doing press for his upcoming flick The Legend of Hercules on Monday, while Miley is set to perform at the Jingle Ball on Friday,” according to the outlet.

Miley, 21, has been linked to a string of rumoured admirers since her September split from ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth, including music producer Mike Will Made It and rapper French Montana.

Miley seems to be happy on her own for the moment, however. She recently admitted she was once “scared” to leave Liam but is now enjoying some solo time.

“I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year,” she revealed during an interview with Barbara Walters for her ABC special Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013.

“I don't ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can't be yourself,” she added.
