Miley Cyrus’ music promos were the most watched of the year.

The 21-year-old singer tops VEVO’s list of 2013’s highest-viewed videos, with Wrecking Ball landing 19.3 million on its first day of release in September and a staggering 371 million views worldwide as of December 1.

The music video website included views from syndication partner websites AOL, Yahoo!, YouTube and others. And a spokesperson said Miley was the “clear winner”, with Wrecking Ball becoming the fastest to reach 100 million views, in just six days.

The video has been the subject of controversy, as Miley appears nearly naked in parts of the clip, swinging on top of a prop wrecking ball in between close-ups of her tearfully singing to the camera.

Vevo noted it was “Miley’s year”, as the star’s promo for We Can’t Stop also took the second spot, now having reached more than 310 million views.

Will.i.am’s Scream and Shout, featuring Britney Spears, came in third.

Rihanna’s Diamonds and Katy Perry’s Roar followed at fourth and fifth, respectively.

Rounding out the top 10 are Just Give Me a Reason by Pink, featuring Nate Ruess; Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke, featuring T.I. and Pharrell; Stay by Rihanna, featuring Mikky Ekko; La La La by Naughty Boy ft. Sam Smith; and Kiss You by One Direction.
