Nicole Richie joked that she'll be "p**sed" if her parents get drunk and hook up.
The 32-year-old fashion designer shared a photo of herself standing in the middle of dad Lionel Richie and mom Brenda Harvey.
Continuing the Thanksgiving celebrations, Nicole hinted that the drinking hadn't stopped in the Richie household.
"If these divorcees get drunk & hook up tonight, I'm gonna be P**SED. Happy Thanksgiving," she wrote next to the family snap in a message to her 1.6 million followers.
Nicole has two children with Good Charlotte lead singer Joel Madden, Harlow and Sparrow, and shares a close relationship with her parents.
Despite Lionel divorcing Brenda in 1993, Nicole's folks remain close and often spend time together over the holidays, with Nicole always on hand to take pictures.
"When I'm entertaining first and foremost, I break out the Polaroid cameras. I have a few that I lay out with extra film, and people love taking pictures all night," she recently told E!
She also shared her tips on what sort of party hostess she is, and how she keeps her guests comfortable.
"I collect rugs from different places around the world and lay them out on the ground so that we have more room to sit. We're usually outside at my parties, so I keep several white Moroccan wedding blankets out in the event that people get cold,” she said.
And when it comes to the music, Nicole says Christmas is always a time for traditional festive music, until the alcohol comes out and then it moves on to more upbeat tunes.
"It starts off with traditional Christmas music. A few hours and a few bottles of wine later, we're moving into more of a TLC/Missy Elliot kind of world," she laughed.
