Zayn Malik has reportedly promised to "move mountains" so his wedding date can be set.
The One Direction hunk is engaged to British pop star Perrie Edwards, although planning their nuptials is proving tough. It's been claimed that due to their schedules they may not be able to tie the knot until 2015, which is said to be worrying Perrie.
"Zayn can't set a date at the moment. In fairness, he has no choice as he's too busy next summer and has to see what the band's schedule is for 2015 - but he won't know that until August 2014. So it means Perrie can't even begin to plan things," an insider told British magazine Heat.
"Zayn's promised to move mountains to get the ceremony on for 2015 but Perrie worries it could be one of those 'showbiz engagements' that never goes the distance."
Perrie recently explained the pair have started to think about their big day and may end up having a beach wedding in Barbados.
Although she is trying to get excited about her special day, the star is said to be finding criticism from One Direction fans hard. The band's admirers are known for their devotion to Zayn and his bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne and sometimes lash out at people who criticise the singers on Twitter. They are also known to have slammed the boys' partners, with some suggesting Zayn has no intention of ever saying I do with Perrie.
