Pearl Jam played a massive 57 different sons over two nights of shows in Brooklyn on the weekend.
The band thrilled fans on Friday and Saturday night at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn with two high powered shows that, except for ten songs, were completely different.
The set lists were a mixed bag of well known, deep cuts and a number of covers, especially on Friday night. Six of the repeated songs (Infallible, Lightning Bolt, Mind Your Manners, Pendulum, Sirens, Yellow Moon) were from the group’s latest, the just released Lightning Bolt. Also making it both nights were Alive and Porch from Ten and Do the Evolution and Given to Fly from Yield.
What was missing was a number of their best known songs including Jeremy, Who Are You, Nothing As It Seems, World Wide Suicide and the novelty Last Kiss, which didn’t get played either night, and Daughter and Better Man, which were only played one night.
