Miley Cyrus has taken to Twitter after pregnancy rumours circulated about her.
The 20-year-old star reportedly told the audience at the BET Hip Hop Awards that she was expecting a baby with rapper Juicy J.
The pair have been working together on new track 23, alongside Miley’s alleged new love interest Mike WiLL.
“I assure you she’s been doing a lot more than twerking,” Juicy J said on the awards show stage according to website Cream BMP, before Miley stepped in.
“No, I’m really pregnant,” Miley is reported to have insisted.
Taking to her Twitter account today Miley addressed the rumours with a series of messages that gradually got less serious, with her jokingly telling best friend Cheyne Thomas that she already has a name for the baby.
“waking up to the news that I’m now pregnant with @therealjuicyj baby.
“Me: “did you know I’m pregnant with @therealjuicyj baby this morning.” @CheyneThomas : “what are you gonna name it?” Me: “Juicy J Jr DUH (sic)” she tweeted to her 14.2 million followers.
The rumours come weeks after it was claimed that Miley had a pregnancy scare with ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth.
The couple, who recently split, are reported to have prolonged their relationship due to situation.
“Miley thought she was expecting and wanted to announce it to the world, even before she went to the doctor to verify the results. Liam begged her not to go public yet.
“He was emotionally out of the romance for months by that point, though he was still sleeping with her,” a friend confessed to OK! magazine.
