Beyoncé Knowles enjoyed an “impromptu champagne cruise” on her birthday.
The songstress turned 32 years old on Wednesday and she decided to celebrate the occasion with her family aboard a luxury yacht off the island of Stromboli, Italy.
In images of the occasion obtained by MailOnline, Beyoncé is pictured sun-tanning on the vessel surrounded by her loved ones, including husband Jay-Z and their 20-month-old daughter Blue Ivy.
Jay-Z, 43, had an absolute ball on the boat, posing in pictures with “a Nebuchadnezzar size gold bottle of champagne” and puffing on his cigars.
Although the celebrations “appeared to turn into an impromptu champagne cruise” at one point, the conscious family kept their partying relaxed in efforts to keep Blue Ivy safe.
The stylish group were all donned in gorgeous swimsuits. Stunner Beyoncé wore a white and black striped monokini with a flash of red, Jay sported blue swim trunks and Blue Ivy kept cool in a cute leopard print one-piece.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé appeared more in love than ever and were cuddling throughout the day. The carefree spouses even dove into the Tyrrhenian Sea together, although in one photograph it seemed that a smiling Beyoncé had to coax her hesitant husband into taking the plunge.
The pair have been on holiday in Ibiza, Spain this past week before moving their trip to Italy.
It is rumoured they decided to take a little breather before Beyoncé released her as-yet untitled fifth studio album, which is said to be dropping later this year.
Songs were written by top-notch producers Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake and The-Dream amongst others, and it is believed Beyoncé began shooting a music promo for one of the singles in Coney Island, New York last week.
