Lance Bass is engaged to boyfriend Michael Turchin.
The 34-year-old 'N Sync singer confirmed rumours he had popped the question by sharing the news on Instagram Sunday.
"He said YES!! Love this man @michaelturchinart," Lance wrote.
Accompanying the message was a photo of the men smiling as Lance pointed to his fiancé's engagement ring.
Michael hinted about an engagement Saturday night, tweeting: "Happiest guy in the world :)."
Us Weekly reports Lance and Michael began dating in December 2011.
According to the tabloid, Lance proposed to the aspiring actor in New Orleans after asking Michael's parents for permission via text message.
The couple's loved ones are said to be elated by the news.
"They're such a great couple, everyone is so happy for them. Their friends and family are thrilled," an insider said.
The announcement comes just days after Lance reunited with his 'N Sync bandmates for a performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
Lance shared afterwards that joining Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone on stage after more than a decade was a very special moment in more ways than one.
"For the first time ever I got to perform w *NSYNC as an out entertainer and was thinking of this man," he tweeted on Wednesday with a photo of himself with Michael.
