Selena Gomez's tour rehearsals have been "full on".

The songstress is gearing up for her Stars Dance Tour, which kicks off in Vancouver, Canada, on August 14.

She's been displaying some energetic moves in the promo for her catchy track Come & Get It and Selena has been practising nonstop for her fans.

"This tour we've worked on for a couple months," she explained to MTV News.

"We started dance rehearsal two months ago, so it's been full on in dance studios for a while for about eight hours a day."

The music channel will be following the 21-year-old singer as she prepares for her first show, giving an insight into things such as wardrobe and choreography.

As a sneak preview, a teaser clip has been released for fans who can't wait to watch Selena strut her stuff on stage.

In the video, the brunette can be seen practising her routine for dance track B.E.A.T.

The lights go down as Selena sings into a sparkling silver microphone, with red and purple strobe lights following as the beat picks up.

The star has been taking her dancing seriously and recently revealed she will be looking to pop legend Britney Spears for ideas on how to move.

It seems her raunchy routines are a sign she's growing up.

"The most attractive thing for a woman is confidence. Because I turned 21 this year and a lot of great things have happened maybe I'm exuding confidence more," she recently smiled.

"I like to say confident rather than sexy, but I suppose I've become a bit more of a red lip woman."

The Stars Dance Tour will travel through the US and Europe before heading back to North America, where it ends in St. Louis on November 27.
