Harry Styles wants to emulate the career of Mick Jagger.

The One Direction heartthrob is determined for his years in entertainment to last five decades like the Rolling Stone frontman.

Apparently the 19-year-old singer is hoping to get in shape so he can dance like the rocker.

“Harry wants a career spanning decades like Mick’s and to have that he recognises that fitness, health and developing his body is the key,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

“He spoke to Torje about Jagger’s intense routine of kick-boxing, running, weights and, most importantly, ballet.”

Harry has allegedly been talking to 69-year-old Mick’s personal trainer Torje Eike after he watched the Rolling Stones play a gig in Washington in June.

However he apparently has a long ways to go with his moves.

“That’s the Achilles’ heel in Harry’s training,” the insider continued. “He can’t dance and neither can any of the 1D boys — their choreographer recognised early on that they shouldn’t dance on stage.”

The X Factor 2010 alumni have already begun a fitness regime while away on tour.

The group, which includes Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, have teamed up with fitness guru Mark Jarvis to do cardio and weight training.

Mark’s boss Ramzy Khachik think doing some classic dance training help them more as they will look more graceful.

“Nobody works harder than ballet dancers,” he commented. “It’s all about grace, stance and strength. Harry sees how supple Mick is, how he manages to stretch his body and do contortions.

“It’s a brilliant art form and will get more grace into his movements — if you’re graceful you can get away with minimalistic moves, which is what their choreography is about.”
