Rod Stewart can’t believe he still hasn’t received a knighthood.

The British singer isn’t desperate for the prestigious accolade given out by Queen Elizabeth II.

However he is still waiting to be invited to Buckingham Palace to claim a “Sir” title while stars such as Mick Jagger and Tom Jones have.

“Mick doesn’t pay taxes here and Tom lives in America. If my time comes, it will. If it doesn’t, I’m not bothered,” he told Radio Times magazine.

If his time does come, Rod is already thinking about what he’s say to the head of royal family.

The musician thinks she they could benefit from discussing their beauty routines.

“The Queen and I have one thing in common. The same hairstyle for 45 years,” he continued.

While he envies Mick for his knighthood, Rod does not care for his supposed singing talent.

He thinks the Rolling Stones crooner isn’t as a good a vocalist in comparison.

“Mick’s a fine blues singer, but technically not as good as me. He’s made the best of what he’s got,” Rod commented.

The star then suggested that Mick, 69, once asked for a sexual encounter with his wife Bianca Jagger and Dee Harrington, who Rod was dating at the time.

However the rocker politely refused as it was not his style.

“I’ve only done that sort of thing once, with a couple of oriental girls, and it’s not my thing,” he confirmed. “I’m a romantic and like a one-on-one situation, candlelight and foreplay, all the old-fashioned things.”
