The Pixies release first new video in nine years

The Pixies last new music was 2004's Bam Thwock and you have to go back to 1991 for their last album, Trompe le Monde.

That's why it was such a surprise when they released a new track, complete with a video, on Friday. Kim Deal announced she had left the group earlier this month so it is not known who plays bass on this track (it has been confirmed it is not Deal).

Black Francis said in a statement "The lyrics, coincidentally, were composed at a Starbucks Coffee in Harvard Square in Cambridge, about a hundred feet from where, 25 years ago, I composed some of the lyrics to an old Pixies song called 'Break My Body"

Bagboy was produced by Gil Norton and the video directed by Lamar + Nik.
